Maryam in Marrakech

That is absolutely incredible. I am very much struggling with a piece of work right now for which I am on deadline. I have writer's block. I can't believe that I can't find a way to get beyond this, given what Maud is able to do in the middle of the sea, all by herself...

I understand... this is such a strong lesson for us all. Now, close your eyes for a second, and keep faith. There is just no other way:

What a story — and what a powerful human being Maud is! She seems to have an endless supply of internal resources to tap into to find strength and ingenuity to keep going.

And this energy she find within herself, she manages to share and inspire a growing audience around the world.

Maud's response to her adversity has given me a lot to think about...I'll keep her in my thoughts as I picture her floating in the great unknown, conquering so many things.

Thanks for this update, Mindblob!

You're welcome. Thank you for your comment. Maud definitely deserves to float in our thoughts. Her determination, faith, courage and will to succeed are great source of inspiration.

mindblob, you did not mention that she was the first woman to cross the atlantic and the pacific oceans on a rowing boat!!!! she is a force of nature.

Gianandrea, yes... you're right she is a force of nature. Still, I think her strength is more than just physical. She's got an extremely strong determination and will. IMHO, that's what makes the difference and that's is "the" key, actually. Without that faith, someone physically stronger, might have been in deep trouble in the same situation.
